SUMMER INTENSIVES:
We LOVE and live for intensives!!! If we could run them all year long we would!!
Intensives are challenging, specialized classes to improve strength and stamina. Intensives are an incredible way to introduce or improve Irish dance technique and material at an accelerated rate. The bootcamp of Irish dance.
Intensives are Monday -Thursday (4 days) for 2 hours per day.
The first intensive will be 1-3PM, the second intesive will be 3-5PM and the third intensive will be 5-7PM.

7/20-7/23: Slip Jig Choreo
1st Intensive (1-3PM) Slip Jig Sway Choreography This intensive will have your dancers drilling form, technique, conditioning and learning movements and steps of the Slip Jig Sway Choreography. This intensive is best suited for Youth 2 through Youth 3 and adults. Youth 1 leveling to Youth 2 may be eligible.

2nd Intensive (3-5PM) Troop Hornpipe Choreography This intensive will have your dancers drilling form, technique, conditioning and learning movement and steps of the Troop Hornpipe Choreography. This intensive is best suited for Youth 2 (2nd years) through Youth 3 and advanced adults.

3rd Intensive (5:00-7:00PM) 3 Sea Captain's Set (Advanced Level) This intensive will have your dancers drilling form, technique, conditioning and learning movements and step work to accomplish the 3 Sea Captain's Set dance. 8/17-8/20:Intro2Irish/Friends
1st Intensive (3:00-5:00PM) Intro To Irish Dance/Friends!! This intensive will teach students the basics of Irish dance. It will also introduce both individual and group dances. All ages are welcome! Duffy students will receive a referral gift when a new dancer enrolls for the semester!! For a special limited time NEW dancers can too!! Ask for more info! This Intensive is also great for older Pre-Wee & Wee Ones for extra conditioning. Looking forward to meeting all our new dance friends!!

8/17-8/20: Team Try Outs!!
2nd Intensive (5:00-7:00PM) Team Try Outs!! This intensive is only available to advanced dancers. Students interested should inquire with Ms. Alycia about how they can best train to prepare themselves by July18th. Expectations of Team: -Excellent Attitude: Challenge, believe, practice and succeed! -Excellent Dancing: Dancers must excel in timing, rhythm, poise and presence. -Commitment: Be committed to your Team.
