SUMMER INTENSIVES:
We LOVE intensives!!! If we could run them all year long we would!!
Intensives are challenging, specialized classes to improve strength and stamina. Intensives are an incredible way to introduce or improve Irish dance technique and material at an accelerated rate. The bootcamp of Irish dance.
Intensives are Monday -Thursday (4 days) for 2 hours per day.
The first intensive will be 1-3PM, the second intesive will be 3-5PM and the third intensive will be 5-7PM.

7/22-7/25: Blackthorn Stick
3rd Intensive (5:00-7:00PM) Blacthorn Stick Set (Advanced Level) This intensive will have your dancers drilling form, technique, conditioning and learning movements and step work to accomplish the Blackthorn Stick Set dance. This intensive is best suited for Youth 3 through Master classes. Including Advanced Adults.

7/29-8/1: Combo Shoe Bootcamp
2nd Intensive (3:00-5:00PM) Combo Shoe Bootcamp: Drills, Technique, Conditioning & Step This intensive will have your dancers drilling form, technique, conditioning and learning movements and step work. This intensive is suited for EVERYONE! Dancers will be challenged according to their level and dance experience.

7/29-8/1: Planxty Drury
3rd Intensive (5:00-7:00PM) Planxty Drury Set This intensive will have your dancers drilling form, technique, conditioning and learning movements and step work to accomplish The Planxty Drury Set dance. This intensive is best suited for Youth 3 through Master classes. Including Advanced Adults.

8/5-8/9:THE MOTHA DUFFER CAMP
August 7th to August 11th: 9AM - 3PM In honor of May Duffy, the toughest bird we know and founder of the CT Duffy Academy, we are offering the ultimate....bootiest Bootcamp there EVER was… We call it... ‘THE MOTHA DUFFER’!!! This is the most intense camp we have ever offered. Think of an intensive...all day long. This camp is ONLY available for dancers who can handle a full day of bootcamp. Who is coming with me?!!

8/19-8/22: Team Try Outs!!
Intensive (5:30-7:30PM) Team Try Outs!! This intensive is only available to advanced dancers. Students interested should inquire with Ms. Alycia about how they can best train to prepare themselves by June. Expectations of Team: -Excellent Attitude: Challenge, believe, practice and succeed! -Excellent Dancing: Dancers must excel in timing, rhythm, poise and presence. -Commitment: Be committed to your Team. Commit to Team show times. Do what is needed to be worthy of their commitment
