UMASS Fireworks Show!!

WHAT:

UMASS Fireworks Show!!

WHERE:

McGurik Stadium, Amherst

WHEN:

Saturday 7/1

*Rain date 7/8

4:30-5:45PM: Arrive.

Event opens to the public at 5PM. It will be difficult to travel and park due heavy traffic. Plan accordingly.

From the coordinator:

• Performers can park inside the stadium - use Lot 22-to-11 (could get stuck at the back of exit traffic, but they could leave when they want)  Or they can come in on rocky hill road and park along the west Stadium curve (easy exit but can’t leave until the fireworks end)
• They should plan on arriving by 4:30 if they want access to rocky hill road.
• Performers must arrive and be ready to go by 6PM. 

6:30PM: Meet side stage/on deck to take stage

7:30PM: PERFORM!!

From what I heard it may be blown up for the audience and possibly videoed!! I'm SO excited for you all!! 🤩

8PM: Enjoy!! 😎

Immediately following performance rejoin your families and enjoy fireworks!! I plan on staying to enjoy the fireworks with my family. I'd love to enjoy them with you too!

NOTE:

• Free entry. Food and vendors available to enjoy before fireworks. Not sure if cash only.
• Costumes and dance shoes. Clean and prepped. Bring clothes to change.
• Stage size not confirmed yet. Bigger than 8x16. I will do my best to safely fit as many dancers as I can on and in front of the stage.
• Dancers are in my care during on deck and performance. Before and after please assume regular parental responsibilities.
